Hey I'm Erin!
I'm a photographer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I love deep-rooted connections & making new friends. So I'll probably ask you to hop on a Facetime or grab a cup of coffee so we can get to know each other a little bit more!
I got started with photography at the beginning of 2020 when a few realtor friends of mine told me they were having a hard time finding real estate photographers. I quickly picked up the camera and taught myself EVERYTHING. I enjoyed shooting real estate for a bit but what I soon discovered was I had a way bigger passion storytelling through the lens.
Fast forward to June 2021, my husband and I moved from CA - Phoenix, for a travel nursing assignment he was on. I knew I was going to have to rebuild my network in Phoenix if I was going to jump back into real estate photography, so I decided to take a leap into weddings and couples. I gave myself the goal of going full-time in 8 months, and what felt like an un-realistic goal turned into a reality in 3 months! I fell in love with capturing smitten young couples and wedding days that leave you dancing and smiling ear to ear.
My Style!
I believe proper storytelling is capturing moments genuinely and organically. So if you're looking for a photographer that tells you to say "cheese" at the camera and gives you that "picture perfect" moment, I'm probably not your girl. I thrive in the messiness and candidness of sessions. I love when the wind is wildly blowing your dress or your hair whips across your lover's face, as y'all go in for a smooch. So often times I may give you a prompt that feels chaotic but I PROMISE- in the midst of the chaos, magic is formed and candid imagery is captured!
I also believe that everyone's story is different and unique. No one is the same- no two couples are the same- therefore, no two sessions should be the same. If your dog is a huge part of your life, bring your pup to the shoot. If you and your love go on coffee dates every Saturday morning, let's grab a latte and capture you both all cozied up at a coffee shop. Trust me when I say, some of your favorite photos will be the ones that feel the most true to who you are!
Fun Facts About me
- I married my love, Paul, at the beginning of 2020 (right before the whole covid fiasco) after doing 4 years of long distance!
- I've been to 13 different countries so far. Travel is one of my biggest passions in life and my long term goal is to live abroad.
- I have my Pilots License! I love to fly and have been documenting Paul's and my journey in our aviation education and travels we've taken (you can check it out more on @erinandpaulfly )
- You'll often find me hanging at local coffee shops, sipping on an iced coffee. I love my caffeine haha
